Moonen Yachts are proud to present our new 42-metre superyacht design: the Moonen Marquis. Part of Moonen’s successful Caribbean line of innovative, ocean-going motor yachts to travel the world. Next to cruising the Mediterranean, the shallow draft ensures comfortable cruising in the blue waters of Florida or the Bahama’s.
Marquis is designed by the renowned Dutch designer and longtime collaborator with the yard, René Van der Velden and lives up to the exceptional style, quality and capabilities associated with the Moonen tradition of building yachts.
SPACIOUS LAY-OUT
The Moonen Marquis is a twin-screw, four deck displacement motor yacht with comfort, style and quality at her core. The sundeck offers spectacular 360 degrees panoramic views, allows guests to make the most of the superyacht life with a Jacuzzi, shaded seating area and large sun pads aft, as well as a generous beach club.
The impressive owner’s suite is situated on the main deck, with four spacious guest cabins and the crew area for nine crew in five cabins on the lower deck. The captain has its own cabin close to the helm on bridge deck.
Explaining some of the technical benefits of the new Moonen Marquis design, Business Development Manager, Maarten Hogeweg, explains:
“The round bilge of this displacement hull makes the yacht seaworthy and gives her a very economical fuel consumption and long range at lower speeds. Together with her exceptionally low noise and vibration levels, this well-equipped yacht gives great comfort and luxury. Moonen Yachts will build and fit out the yacht in accordance with their usual recognisable quality standards and deliver it to the principal, after extensive sea trials, in a ready-to-operate condition.”
