IN BUILD: YN199
Moonen YN199 is the second yacht to be built on the 36-metre Martinique platform. She features exterior design by renowned Dutch designer René van der Velden, with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design in collaboration with René van der Velden.
TIMELESS EXTERIOR
YN199 boasts a timeless design combined with a Fast Displacement Hull Form. Her striking profile sees an innovative use of glass. An almost continuous band of large windows on the main and bridge decks offer up spectacular vistas and plenty of natural light on board.
Her exterior design pays special attention to the perfect indoor-outdoor connection, with plenty of comfortable seating and sophisticated dining areas spread over three decks. With large sliding doors, the sky lounge seamlessly connects with the bridge deck aft to create one large space with the best of both worlds.
Technical operations and handling have a minimum impact on life onboard. The 5.7-metre tender is stored below the main deck and launched through the ship’s side, while, two wave runners can be stored on the foredeck or aft bridge deck, leaving decks uncluttered and maximising usable living space. With a range of 4,000 nm at 10 knots, YN199 more than lives up to Moonen’s heritage of building quality, oceangoing yachts.

Timeless yet modern interior
YN199’s interior design is from the drawing boards of London-based studio, Studio Indigo. A timeless yet modern design combined with a smart layout provides spacious, light and luxurious interior living. Internal areas are maximised on board, with ease of movement and vast living spaces leaving YN199 feeling significantly larger than her length suggests.
Smart panelling enables interchangeable fabrics and wallpaper, while pale, wire-brushed veneers are blended with accent materials to add colour and texture.
