THE YARD

For more than a quarter-century, Moonen has built all its fine custom and semi-custom yachts in up-to-date facilities in the classic town of s-Hertogenbosch.

There we also do engineering design work; fabricate, finish, and install interior joinery; and create stainless-steel components in our daughter company, Inoferro. Further we perform also the full range of refit work.

We launch yachts into our adjacent canal, which leads to deep water where we perform all sea trials.

Recently, to handle the increasing number of large yachts on order, or on the drawing board for future delivery, we acquired a new 60-metre construction hall in the town of Groot-Ammers.  There we will build yachts up to 500 GT (approx. 45 metres/150 feet), beginning with the first Moonen 124. And in this new hall we can do also refits up to approx. 50 metres (165 feet).

The 's-Hertogenbosch yard will continue building yachts up to approx. 35 metres (115 feet) and retain all administrative functions.
