First-class facilities

Moonen has two first-class yards located in Den Bosch (’s-Hertogenbosch) and Groot-Ammers, both at the heart of the world renowned Dutch superyacht industry. We partner with the very best sub-contractors, all of whom are within easy distance of the yards.   

Yachts up to 35 metres 

Our home base is the Den Bosch facility, which is just a one-hour drive south-east of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. We have been building some of the world’s finest custom and semi-custom yachts here for three decades. This yard is also the location for engineering design work, our interior joinery department and the stainless-steel experts from daughter company, Inoferro. Yachts up to 35 metres (115 feet) are built and refitted here before being launched into the adjacent canal, which leads to deep water for sea trials.

Yachts up to 50 metres

Opened in 2008, the Groot-Ammers yard is located east of Rotterdam. Here Moonen operates a 60-metre construction hall building yachts up to 500 GT (approx. 45 metres/150 feet). This facility is also the place for refits and rebuilds up to approx. 50 metres (165 feet).
